Fundación Carolina is a Spanish public-private institution that strengthens ties between Spain and the Ibero-American community through education, offering one of the largest scholarship portfolios for Latin American students to study in Spain. Its 2026–2027 call opens 736 scholarships across 203 academic programmes in all areas of knowledge, with a strong orientation toward the Sustainable Development Goals and Ibero-American development; the mix includes postgraduate (master's) scholarships, doctoral scholarships and short postdoctoral stays, doctoral renewals, faculty mobility, and institutional study scholarships. Coverage varies by programme but is generous — many master's awards provide full or substantial tuition coverage plus a monthly allowance of around €900 for accommodation and living, and round-trip airfare from Latin America to Spain for eligible awardees. The programmes are primarily taught in Spanish.
