Fulbright Degree Program for Pakistani Students
Offered by United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan
About this scholarship
The Fulbright Degree Program for Pakistani Students is the Pakistan-specific Fulbright route administered by USEFP for fully funded master's and PhD study in the United States. USEFP states that the scholarship funds graduate study at U.S. universities and covers tuition, required textbooks, airfare, a living stipend, and health insurance, subject to budget allocation for the relevant program year. It is recorded as full funding because those benefits cover the main academic and living-cost components of the degree. The 2027 program deadline was April 1, 2026. Pakistani citizens with strong academic histories who reside in Pakistan throughout the process and are committed to returning and serving Pakistan are welcome to apply. All disciplines are eligible except clinical medicine, with current encouragement for sciences, technology and AI, trade and economics, and natural resource management. Master's applicants need 16 years of formal education; PhD applicants need 18 years and preferably teaching, research, or public-sector experience in Pakistan. All applicants need GRE General scores, strong English fluency, and must be prepared to complete grants without accompanying dependents if necessary.
