About this scholarship
The J. Hugh and Earle W. Fellows Foundation supports qualified residents of Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties in Florida who are studying medicine, physician assistant practice, nursing, medical technology, other healthcare fields, or ministry. For 2027–28, awards can reach $15,000 for medicine or physician assistant programs, $10,000 for other healthcare-related programs, and $5,000 for nursing; the theology amount remains to be determined. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, bona fide residents of one of the four eligible counties, hold a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5, and be accepted into or successfully pursuing an appropriate accredited program. Ministerial applicants must be Episcopalian or hold beliefs not substantially in conflict with Episcopal doctrine. The online application opens January 1, 2027 and closes May 1.
