FAU President's International Scholarship

The FAU President's International Scholarship is a competitive undergraduate scholarship for international students at Florida Atlantic University. FAU lists the award at $6,000 per year and states that a limited number of President's Scholarships are offered specifically to international students on F-1 or J-1 visas. Eligible candidates are automatically considered after admission, so students do not complete a separate scholarship form for this award. The scholarship is partial funding because it reduces educational costs but does not cover the full cost of tuition, fees, housing, meals, health insurance, books, transportation, and personal expenses. Eligibility

• Apply as an international undergraduate degree-seeking student to FAU
• Hold or plan to hold F-1 or J-1 visa status
• Be admitted before scholarship consideration
• Freshman applicants need a 3.5 GPA or higher on a 4.0 U.S. grading scale
• Freshman applicants must provide SAT, ACT, or CLT scores and proof of English proficiency
• Transfer applicants need a 3.5 transfer GPA or higher and two years of university credit up to 60 credits or an associate degree
• Have earned a high school diploma or equivalent by the first day of classes
