Faith Hope and Love Jesus, Inc. College Scholarship

Offered by Faith Hope and Love Jesus, Inc.

About this scholarship

Faith Hope and Love Jesus, Inc. offers two $500 college scholarships each year to U.S. citizens who survived childhood cancer or a blood disorder diagnosed before age 18. The annual submission window runs from August 2 through May 1, making the May 1, 2027 deadline the current cycle’s closing date. Both incoming college students and students already enrolled may apply. The central requirement is an original essay of at least 500 words on any topic the applicant chooses. The essay must be a PDF with a cover page listing the student’s name and contact information. Applicants also attach school documentation—an acceptance letter for an incoming freshman, a transcript for a current student, or a registrar’s letter—and a doctor’s letterhead statement documenting the diagnosis history, date of birth, and diagnosis date. All three PDF components are emailed to the scholarship address shown on the official page. The organization sends confirmation within one week and announces winners August 1. Award proceeds are distributed after completion of the fall semester, when the recipient must provide an official or unofficial transcript. This is a diagnosis-based award; no particular major, GPA, state, or religious affiliation is stated as a requirement.
