Eula Mae Jett Scholarship — College Student Category
Offered by Legal Professionals, Incorporated
About this scholarship
The college-student category of Legal Professionals, Incorporated's Eula Mae Jett Scholarship supports continuing California students training for legal-support and court-administration careers. It covers career paths such as paralegal or legal assistant, legal secretary, court reporter, court clerk, law-office administrator, and other qualifying legal-professional work; it does not fund law school. Applicants must have completed at least one year of college by the end of June 2027 and must remain enrolled in fall 2027 until the degree or certificate is finished. The program or approved online course must last at least six months. LPI selects a $2,000 first-place recipient and a $1,000 second-place recipient in this category. A complete packet includes the current application, a biographical letter, one recommendation from someone other than a relative, an unofficial transcript, and the scholarship checklist. Students normally work through a local LPI association, whose deadline precedes the statewide forwarding date. Direct submission to LPI is reserved for applicants without a local association; forwarded packets must reach LPI by April 1, 2027 at 11:59 p.m.
