The Epsilon Tau Pi Foundation Soaring Eagle Scholarship helps Eagle Scouts begin an associate or bachelor’s degree at a college or university that has an active Epsilon Tau Pi chapter or colony. The Foundation is the charitable arm of Epsilon Tau Pi, an honorary fraternity for recipients of the Eagle Scout Award. Funding is partial, varies with donations, and is paid directly to the recipient’s educational institution rather than to the student. Applicants must be incoming first-year students and Eagle Scouts. The Foundation currently identifies eligible chapters or colonies at Appalachian State, Clemson, Georgia Southern, Miami University in Ohio, Mississippi State, Missouri University of Science and Technology, Ohio University, the University of Dayton, the University of Florida, UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Charlotte, the University of South Carolina, and Western Carolina University.
