About this scholarship
Epic Flight Academy will award two $20,000 aircraft mechanic scholarships in 2026, one tied to its New Smyrna Beach, Florida campus and one to its Erlanger, Kentucky campus at CVG Airport. Funds apply toward tuition in Epic’s aircraft mechanic training program. Applicants use the dedicated mechanic scholarship form and select their preferred campus; the same application also considers candidates for Epic’s two $10,000 mechanic awards. Eligibility is limited to U.S. high school seniors who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents. A recipient must be 18 by the time the program is completed, start training within twelve months of receiving the award, and use the scholarship within twenty-four months. Students need reliable transportation to the campus or must be willing to relocate, and applicants under 18 need parent or guardian approval. The application requires two recommendations, including at least one from a teacher, counselor, coach, or other school official; a motivation essay of no more than 500 words; a two-minute YouTube video; and a photo. Applicants also certify that they have not applied for the incompatible FEAM scholarship at CVG. The deadline is October 1, 2026.
Eligibility
- Be a current high school senior attending school in the United States
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Be at least 18 years old by the time the aircraft mechanic program is completed
- Start training within 12 months and use the award within 24 months
- Attend the New Smyrna Beach, Florida or Erlanger, Kentucky Epic campus
- Have reliable transportation to the campus or be willing to relocate
- Obtain parent or guardian approval if younger than 18
- Submit two recommendations, essay, video, photo, and complete application by October 1, 2026
