The Duquesne University Libermann Scholarship is a merit-based undergraduate scholarship for international students. Duquesne's official international costs and scholarships page states that international students accepted to Duquesne qualify for the Libermann Scholarship and are automatically considered without a separate scholarship application. The award is based on academic performance and a scholarship committee review of the full application and supporting documents. Students who receive the scholarship usually receive between $10,000 and $30,000 per academic year. It is partial funding because Duquesne states that full scholarships and financial aid are not available to international students, and the Libermann Scholarship does not cover the full cost of tuition, fees, housing, meals, health insurance, travel, books, or personal expenses. The scholarship is renewable for four years or eight semesters of study. Applicants should complete the international undergraduate application, submit official academic records with certified English translations when needed, meet admission and English-language requirements, and complete immigration documentation after admission.
