DeSales University Catholic Schools Grant
Offered by DeSales University
About this scholarship
The DeSales University Catholic Schools Grant provides $3,000 per year to qualifying graduates of Catholic high schools who enter DeSales as undergraduate students in the fall. This is an institutional grant rather than a separate outside scholarship competition: students apply for admission to DeSales, and the university identifies eligible Catholic high school graduates through the admissions and financial-aid process. Graduates of Catholic home-schooling agencies do not qualify. DeSales opened its application for fall 2027 entry on August 1, 2026 and accepts applications on a rolling basis. The university lists December 1 as the priority deadline for scholarship consideration, so students seeking fall 2027 aid should complete admission by December 1, 2026 even though the Catholic Schools Grant itself has no separate form. The undergraduate application has no fee and generally requires an official high school transcript and one recommendation; standardized tests are optional, although an interview may be requested. Applicants to accelerated Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology pathways have a separate December 15 program deadline. Students should use the direct DeSales application portal, identify their Catholic high school accurately, and complete any financial-aid steps requested by the university.
