The DePaul University Theatre School Scholarship is an undergraduate merit scholarship for students admitted to The Theatre School at DePaul. Scholarship amount is based on a combination of the applicant's academic record and admission audition or interview. Every admitted Theatre School student receives a Theatre School Scholarship in the admission decision letter, with published amounts ranging from $15,000 to $30,000. The award is partial funding because it reduces tuition but does not cover the full cost of tuition, fees, housing, meals, health insurance, books, travel, and personal expenses. The scholarship is automatically renewable for up to four years provided the student remains in good standing. The FAFSA is not required for the Theatre School Scholarship, which is useful for international students who cannot complete U.S. federal aid forms.
