Delta Eta Boulé Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship

Offered by Delta Eta Boulé Foundation

About this scholarship

The Delta Eta Boulé Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship invests in Black male leaders from the Denver metropolitan area. Successful applicants receive $5,000 per year, renewable for as many as four undergraduate years for a maximum of $20,000 when the foundation’s renewal standards are maintained. The program extends beyond tuition support: scholars are paired with mentors from Delta Eta Boulé, participate in leadership and professional-development programming, and gain access to internships and the foundation’s professional network. Applicants must be Black males who live in metro Denver, hold at least a 3.0 cumulative unweighted GPA, and plan to enroll at a four-year college or university. The current official application deadline is March 5, 2027. Required uploads include a résumé, high school transcript, professional photograph, one teacher recommendation, and one counselor recommendation. Students also respond to two personal essays: one about the experiences that shaped them and one about their greatest leadership experience and plans to grow as a leader. Applicants selected as semifinalists must attend an interview in April. Because the sponsor evaluates leadership, character, and potential alongside academics, applicants should use the essays and résumé to document service, initiative, obstacles overcome, and sustained involvement in their communities.
