Delmar Foundation Scholarship
Offered by Delmar Foundation
About this scholarship
The Delmar Foundation Scholarship assists residents of Pennsylvania’s Franklin Regional School District who need financial help for accredited postsecondary education. Awards may reach $5,000 for the school year and can support full- or part-time study at a college, university, community college, technical school, or trade school. Eligible programs include technical certificates and associate or bachelor’s degrees; graduate study and applicants who already hold a bachelor’s degree are excluded. Applicants must have lived in the district for at least one year, be U.S. citizens or legal residents, demonstrate financial need, and be high school seniors, recent graduates, GED holders, or adults returning to school. A 2.5 high school GPA is required unless the applicant has a GED. Students already in postsecondary study face higher cumulative thresholds: 2.75 after the first year and 3.0 after the second or third year. The 2027–28 materials become available March 1, 2027, and the complete package is due by 5:30 p.m. Eastern on April 30, 2027. First-time applicants register online, complete the sponsor’s fillable form, obtain two recommendations, and provide transcripts, FAFSA Submission Summary, financial-aid summary, residency proof, and parent or guardian financial information when applicable.
