Dairy MAX Student Scholarship
Offered by Dairy MAX
About this scholarship
The Dairy MAX Student Scholarship supports students from dairy-farm families across the eight-state Dairy MAX service territory. Dairy MAX has officially confirmed that its 2027 application will open January 1, 2027. The sponsor has not yet published a 2027 closing date, so students should not rely on the speculative March 31 date carried by third-party directories. Under the currently published program, Dairy MAX offers three one-time scholarships of $2,500 each. Applicants may be graduating high school seniors or current undergraduates enrolled in a technical school, junior college, or four-year college program. They must live in Colorado, southwest Kansas, Louisiana, Montana, New Mexico, western Oklahoma, Texas, or Wyoming and must be the child of either a dairy farmer or a dairy-farm employee at a dairy that funds the dairy checkoff. The award is not restricted to a single college major, although Dairy MAX evaluates scholastic achievement, leadership, and involvement in agriculture. The most recent application also required a recommendation from a non-family dairy-industry contact or an FFA or 4-H leader, a certified transcript, and a photograph for the recipient announcement. Students should return to the official page on or after January 1 for the 2027 form and cycle-specific requirements.
