CREW Chicago Scholarship
Offered by CREW Chicago
About this scholarship
CREW Chicago awards up to two $7,500 scholarships to women pursuing undergraduate or graduate education connected to commercial real estate. The current application is open through August 31, 2026 for the 2026-27 academic year, correcting the rolled June 2027 deadline shown by some directories. Eligible applicants are female U.S. citizens of legal age who will be enrolled as college juniors, seniors, or graduate students. Qualifying study includes real estate, construction, facility management, architecture, urban planning, real estate law, land economics, real estate appraisal, and related fields that can lead to work in Chicagoland’s commercial real estate community. Reviewers consider academics, leadership, communication skills, activities, and work experience. The application requires an essay of fewer than 1,000 words explaining the applicant’s commercial real estate interest and career objectives, plus a separate response of fewer than 500 words about the applicant’s Chicago connection and potential value as a CREW Chicago member. Applicants also provide official college transcripts, a resume, and two confidential recommendations from professors or employers. Recipients receive a one-year membership in CREW Chicago and CREW Network and are invited to a fall recognition event. The CREW Chicago award is separate from the national CREW Network Foundation Scholarship.
