Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin Scholarship Program

Offered by Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin

About this scholarship

The Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin uses a Universal Application to match students with most of its scholarship funds. The next annual application period runs from November 1, 2026 through February 1, 2027. The portfolio includes opportunities for students in the greater Wausau area and Marathon, Langlade, Lincoln, Oneida, and Taylor counties, as well as statewide Wisconsin aviation awards and scholarships tied to particular school districts. Fund criteria span health care, teaching, accounting, mental health, science, agriculture, construction trades, aviation, human resources, arts, business, engineering, and other fields. Some opportunities are limited to graduating seniors, while others welcome current undergraduates, nontraditional learners, employee dependents, or applicants at another point in their education. The official page identifies which criteria are requirements and which are preferences; completing the Universal Application does not guarantee a match or award. Applicants create or reuse an account in the direct Foundant portal, answer the matching questions accurately, and complete any supplemental materials assigned to them. Because eligibility and award terms differ by fund, students should review the official scholarship list before submitting and allow time to resolve portal questions before February 1.
