About this scholarship

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is one of the most prestigious achievement-based scholarships for graduating high school seniors in the United States, run by the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation. Each year, 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected to receive a $20,000 college scholarship, chosen on the basis of leadership, academics, and service rather than financial need. The application is delivered in two phases: a quick Phase 1 (open August 3–September 30) that requires no essays, transcript, or recommendations and is open to current high school students who will graduate the following academic year; roughly the top 1% are named Semifinalists and invited to complete a more detailed Phase 2 application in November, including essays, a transcript, and a recommendation. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA and be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents, refugees, asylees, Cuban-Haitian entrants, or humanitarian parolees who plan to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. postsecondary institution. The program is highly competitive and emphasizes a track record of leadership and community impact.
