Chickasaw Nation General Scholarship
Offered by The Chickasaw Nation
About this scholarship
The Chickasaw Nation General Scholarship provides additional academic-achievement funding to Chickasaw college students who earn at least a 3.0 term or semester GPA. Awards range from $250 to $500, with the amount determined by both GPA and course load. This scholarship is separate from the Nation’s Higher Education Grant, fee assistance, textbook support, and school-specific full-tuition partnerships, so students may be eligible for more than one type of support through the same higher-education application. Applicants must be Chickasaw citizens, whether they live inside the Chickasaw Nation service area or at large, and must attend an accredited college or university. A transcript and current class schedule are required, and students should retain receipts or payment confirmations for any reimbursement-based benefits requested at the same time. Applications are accepted by academic period: December 1 through February 15 for spring, May 1 through July 1 for summer, and July 15 through September 15 for fall. The direct My Chickasaw portal is the official application route. Because the award is a modest per-term supplement rather than complete tuition and living support, it is classified as partial funding.
