Canisius University International Student Scholarships are renewable merit scholarships for international undergraduate applicants. Canisius publishes separate scholarship ranges for international freshmen and transfer students. International freshmen may receive $14,000 to $22,000 per year based on high school performance, while international transfer students may receive $10,000 to $18,000 per year based on college GPA. The awards are partial funding because they reduce tuition but do not cover the full cost of tuition, fees, housing, meals, health insurance, travel, books, and personal expenses. Scholarships are offered through the admission process, and Canisius states that international students are automatically considered when they apply. The university also notes that the awards are renewable annually for up to four years for freshmen and up to three years for transfer students, provided recipients remain in good academic standing. Applicants should complete the international undergraduate application, provide academic records, English-language documentation, and financial documentation required for the I-20 process.
