Brock Scholars Award
Offered by Brock University
About this scholarship
The Brock Scholars Award is Brock University's largest automatic entrance award and is open to incoming students from anywhere in the world, including international undergraduates. Brock states that students must be entering their first undergraduate program with no previous post-secondary experience. The award is offered at the time of admission and may increase or decrease if final grades change. Published grade bands use Ontario-equivalent final admission averages: CAD $13,600 total, paid as CAD $3,400 each year, for 95.0% and above; CAD $7,600 total for 90.0% to 94.9%; CAD $3,600 total for 85.0% to 89.9%; and CAD $1,600 total for 80.0% to 84.9%. It is partial funding because even the top tier does not cover full tuition, fees, housing, meals, books, insurance, travel, and personal expenses. The award is automatic, so the undergraduate admission application is the practical application route. Brock states that the awards are renewable for up to three years, with two renewals for students pursuing a three-year degree.
