Bradford-Sullivan Forest Landowners’ Association Scholarship
Offered by Bradford-Sullivan Forest Landowners’ Association
About this scholarship
The Bradford-Sullivan Forest Landowners’ Association Scholarship provides $1,000 to a student from Bradford or Sullivan County, Pennsylvania, preparing for work connected to forests, agriculture, parks, environmental resources, or environmental education. Both graduating high school seniors and current undergraduates may apply. Eligible students must plan to attend or already attend an accredited two- or four-year institution and pursue forestry, environmental resource management, agriculture, agronomy, parks, environmental education, or a closely related course of study. The sponsor’s annual deadline is May 1, correcting the April 30 date shown by the discovery directory. Applicants complete the official form and provide academic information, school and community activities, employment history, honors, and financial information. The packet also requests proof of acceptance or an explanation of educational intent, an official transcript, and an essay explaining why the applicant chose the field and how it will help the environment and community. Selection considers academic success, relevant participation, financial need, work experience, and the essay. The award is paid after the recipient successfully completes a semester and submits an official transcript to the association. Because the linked PDF is the sponsor’s actual application packet, students can review all required fields and submission instructions before beginning.
