BOC Sciences Chemistry Scholarship Program

Offered by BOC Sciences

About this scholarship

The 2026 BOC Sciences Chemistry Scholarship Program awards $1,000 to a college student pursuing a chemistry-related field. The global competition accepts full-time undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students at accredited universities. Eligible majors include chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical technology, materials science, pharmaceutical chemistry, and chemistry-based environmental or biomedical engineering; healthcare and nursing programs are excluded. Applicants need a declared field of study or admission documentation by the deadline and a cumulative B average, equivalent to a 3.0 GPA. The selection committee also weighs the academic record and study or research plan, leadership, school activities, and community service. Candidates download and complete the official 2026 application workbook, obtain the program’s recommendation form from a teacher, school counselor, or community leader, and provide a current official transcript. They also submit either an original 800-to-1,000-word essay or a 10-to-12-page PowerPoint with detailed lecture notes about oligonucleotide therapeutics, vaccine development, or drug-delivery systems. All materials are emailed using the required subject format. Applying is free, but students may apply only once per calendar year, and BOC Sciences employees and their relatives are ineligible. The application closes October 31, 2026; the recipient is scheduled to be announced November 15, 2026, with payment sent to the university.
