Bluegrass Spirit Academic Scholarship
Offered by University of Kentucky
About this scholarship
The Bluegrass Spirit Academic Scholarship is a renewable University of Kentucky scholarship available to international freshmen admitted for the fall semester. UK's international scholarship page lists annual award levels of $5,000 for a 3.0 GPA, $8,000 for a 3.5 GPA or a 3.0 GPA with a 1200 SAT, $10,000 for a 3.6 GPA or a 3.5 GPA with a 1200 SAT, and $12,500 for a 3.8 GPA or a 3.5 GPA with a 1360 SAT. The award is partial funding because it reduces tuition costs but does not cover the full cost of tuition, fees, housing, meals, health insurance, books, travel, or personal expenses. Scholarships are awarded only to applicants admitted for the fall semester, and applicants with missing documentation may not be considered. UK states that the listed international scholarships are renewable and can be combined. Students are considered through the admission process, so the undergraduate admission application is the practical application route. The listed deadline is December 1 for the fall freshman scholarship cycle.
