About this scholarship

Binghamton University President's, Provost's and Dean's Scholarships are significant four-year scholarship commitments for students of exceptional achievement selected at admission. Binghamton states that all applicants are considered for scholarships and that there is no application process for these three major scholarship categories. Awards are competitive and vary in amount. Selection may consider academic merit, donor preferences, intended major, program participation, and in many cases financial need as determined by the FAFSA; international applicants should note that they are not eligible for U.S. federal or state funding, so need-based elements may not apply to every student. The scholarship is recorded as variable funding because Binghamton does not publish fixed annual values for each of the President's, Provost's, and Dean's awards. Recipients must enroll full time and maintain minimum grade-point averages to keep eligibility. International first-year applicants should submit one admission application, provide official transcripts in English or with translations, and demonstrate English proficiency through accepted official tests or approved waiver routes.

• Apply for undergraduate admission to Binghamton University
• Be selected upon admission as a student of exceptional achievement
• Submit required admission materials and transcripts
• Meet international application requirements if applying with F or J visa status
• Demonstrate English proficiency if required
• Enroll full time to receive and renew the scholarship
• Maintain the minimum GPA required by the scholarship terms
