BAEF MBA Fellowship for Belgian Students
Offered by Belgian American Educational Foundation
About this scholarship
The Belgian American Educational Foundation MBA Fellowship supports Belgian nationals admitted or waitlisted for a full-time, two-year MBA or management degree at one of 26 named U.S. business schools. The maximum support is $110,000 toward tuition across two academic years. The official terms are important: one half is an outright grant, while the other half is an interest-free loan that must be repaid within six years after graduation. For that reason, the searchable grant value is recorded as $55,000 rather than presenting the entire package as free scholarship money. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree, demonstrate an outstanding academic record and meaningful work experience, and meet the English and admission-test requirements of their chosen schools. They must already be admitted or waitlisted by an eligible program before BAEF can award financial support. The application includes an autobiographical essay, study plan, reasons for U.S. study, expected benefits, school application materials, academic transcripts, test results, a portrait, and three references sent directly to BAEF. Shortlisted candidates attend an in-person interview in Brussels. Other grants may be combined with the fellowship, although BAEF may adjust its contribution if total support becomes excessive. The official MBA deadline is May 1, 2027.
