AUC Curatorial Studies Scholarship
Offered by AUC Art History + Curatorial Studies Collective
About this scholarship
The AUC Curatorial Studies Scholarship provides variable financial assistance to rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have officially declared a Curatorial Studies minor. It is open to students in any major except that Art History majors who also minor in Curatorial Studies must apply through the Art History Scholarship and may receive added support there. Applicants need at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA, good academic and conduct standing, and a grade of B or higher in an approved course such as Introduction to the Object, Acquisitions and Collections, or Seminar in Curatorial Practice. The live form requires a 250–500 word narrative describing career goals or research interests, a résumé or CV, names and contact information for three professional references, an unofficial transcript, and interview availability. Recipients must take at least 15 credit hours in both fall and spring, remain continuously enrolled, keep the Curatorial Studies minor, and maintain a 3.25 GPA. The scholarship can continue for up to three academic years or six semesters but requires annual reapplication. Students abroad or on domestic exchange may remain eligible. International students and students ineligible for federal funding cannot receive the award. Review is rolling, and May 15 is strongly encouraged for continuing students.
