The American Indian College Fund Full Circle Scholarship is part of a broad portfolio supporting American Indian and Alaska Native students at accredited nonprofit colleges and universities in the United States. One annual application automatically considers each student for the College Fund opportunities that match the information in the form. The official portal is accepting applications for the 2026–27 academic year. The May 31 priority-review date has passed, but later applications are welcomed and evaluated on a rolling basis; newly enrolled spring students should submit by January 25 for spring-term consideration. Applicants must be enrolled members of a federally or state-recognized tribe, or descendants of enrolled members, have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA, and enroll full time at an accredited nonprofit institution. Students should prepare a digital headshot, an unofficial recent transcript, and tribal-affiliation documentation. Enrolled members provide a tribal ID or Certificate of Indian Blood. Descendants provide the parent’s or grandparent’s enrollment documentation and birth certificates establishing the relationship. Full Circle award amounts vary and average about $2,000–$3,000. The College Fund selects recipients, requests enrollment verification, and sends funds to the institution’s financial-aid office.
Eligibility
- Be an enrolled member of a federally or state-recognized tribe or a descendant of an enrolled member
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
- Enroll full time at an accredited nonprofit college, university, or eligible certificate program in the United States
- Complete the current American Indian College Fund online application
- Upload a digital headshot and an unofficial copy of the most recent transcript
- Provide a tribal ID or Certificate of Indian Blood if personally enrolled
- If applying as a descendant, provide the relative’s tribal documentation and birth records showing the relationship
- Apply by January 25 to be considered for newly enrolled spring-student opportunities
