Albert Baker Fund Scholarship
Offered by The Albert Baker Fund
About this scholarship
The Albert Baker Fund Scholarship provides $1,000 to $7,500 per academic year to Christian Scientists pursuing accredited postsecondary education. Eligible programs include community college, four-year undergraduate study, graduate school, and vocational or certificate training. Award size is based on the applicant’s FAFSA Student Aid Index; applicants who do not provide an SAI can receive no more than $1,000. Funds are paid directly to the educational institution and must be used for tuition and fees. Candidates begin with the linked official inquiry form, which generates a personalized application. The full file includes an active-Christian-Scientist reference from someone who is not an immediate family member or peer and who has witnessed the applicant’s practice during the past year. Applicants also provide a transcript with upcoming registration, a tuition invoice, FAFSA Student Aid Report, acceptance or enrollment documentation when applicable, the official financial-aid award letter, and the required student statement. The Fund recommends allowing four to six weeks for processing. Students may apply once per academic year during one of three windows: November 1–December 20, January 5–30, or May 15–August 29. The current summer application therefore closes August 29, 2026, correcting the August 28 date circulated by third-party directories.
