AINA Scholarship Program 2026-27

Offered by AI Native Accounting Foundation

About this scholarship

The AINA Scholarship Program 2026-27 awards two $5,000 scholarships to U.S. college students who are building practical artificial-intelligence tools for accounting or finance work. Eligible applicants are undergraduates or master’s students studying accounting, corporate finance, taxation, or a closely related field at an accredited U.S. college or university during the 2026-27 academic year. A CPA, CGMA, or other formal credential track is not required. The three-part application begins with the student’s school, academic background, program, graduation timeline, credential plans, and professional memberships. Its core is a functioning AI use-case artifact, such as a prompt library, custom GPT, Excel or Power BI workflow, automation agent, code notebook, browser extension, or another configured system. A project write-up of no more than 500 words explains the problem, the solution in practice, and the benefit to a real user. Applicants also record one three- to four-minute video that introduces their background, demonstrates the project, discusses AI’s effect on their intended role, and explains the opportunity for the wider profession. Winners receive the scholarship directly for education-related expenses, a six-month mentorship, professional introductions, public recognition, a podcast feature, and inclusion in the foundation’s case-study library. The official page advises applicants to submit an accessible project link and describe its scope honestly. Applications close October 31, 2026.
