AICPA Foundation Scholarship for Future CPAs
Offered by AICPA Foundation
About this scholarship
The AICPA Foundation Scholarship for Future CPAs supports undergraduate and graduate students pursuing accounting and eventual CPA licensure. The official ThisWayToCPA page lists awards of $5,000 to $10,000, 96 recipients, and sponsors including the AICPA Foundation, BDO USA, BKR International, and Springline Advisory. The award is partial funding because payments go to the student's college or university for tuition and degree-related expenses but do not guarantee full tuition, fees, housing, books, exam preparation, travel, or personal expenses. Students interested in multiple AICPA Foundation Legacy Scholarships complete one application and are evaluated for all awards for which they qualify. Applicants must show some financial need, pursue an undergraduate or graduate accounting degree, plan to pursue CPA licensure, maintain at least a 3.0 overall and major GPA, and be AICPA Student Affiliate members or new applicants. They must be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents and enrolled for the 2026-2027 academic year under the published full-time or part-time accounting-employment rules. The next listed funding cycle opens December 1, 2026 and closes March 15, 2027.
