AGC Graduate Scholarship
Offered by Associated General Contractors Education and Research Foundation
About this scholarship
The AGC Education and Research Foundation Graduate Scholarship supports students completing advanced study connected to the commercial construction industry. Awards provide $3,750 per academic year and may continue for a second year, producing a maximum benefit of $7,500. AGC’s official scholarship page confirms that the 2027–2028 portal is open and sends applicants directly to the SmarterSelect form used for both undergraduate and graduate competitions. Graduate candidates should be enrolled or planning to enroll in a construction graduate-degree program and should present a clear intention to build a career in construction. The foundation recognizes qualifying master’s and doctoral study, including approved part-time programs, and evaluates academic preparation, professional direction, recommendations, and industry connection. Applicants provide the online form, academic transcript, and required evaluations through the portal; finalists may be asked to interview with an AGC Foundation representative. Funding is partial educational support rather than a full-cost award and is intended for use during the funded graduate program. The current cycle closes November 1, 2026. Applicants should use the live portal’s graduate pathway and confirm every program-specific document prompt before final submission.
