Acadia University Entrance Scholarships for International Students
Offered by Acadia University
About this scholarship
Acadia University Entrance Scholarships for International Students are merit-based undergraduate entrance awards considered through the Acadia admission and scholarship process. Acadia states that when a student applies to an undergraduate program as a Canadian or international student, the student is automatically considered for an entrance scholarship. Initial entrance scholarship offers can range from CAD $2,000 to CAD $10,000 over four years, while other scholarships and scholar-bursaries can range up to CAD $80,000 over four years. The award is partial funding because even the largest published entrance scholarship range does not guarantee full tuition, fees, residence, meals, books, insurance, travel, and personal expenses. The application process begins with admission: students apply for admission and provide all required documentation. If accepted, Acadia sends an offer letter, and scholarship-eligible students receive an initial scholarship offer in that letter. To be considered for additional prestigious scholarships and special awards, students complete and submit the scholarship forms in the portal by March 1. International applicants must also satisfy Acadia admission and English-language requirements.
