2027 NPVA Act of Kindness Scholarship
Offered by National Parent Volunteer Association
About this scholarship
The 2027 NPVA Act of Kindness Scholarship gives $1,000 to a student committed to helping other people at school or in the community. It is open to high-school juniors and seniors, undergraduate and graduate students, and adult or nontraditional students. Applicants may study full time or part time at accredited U.S. vocational or technical schools, community colleges, four-year colleges, universities, or graduate institutions, and they must report a GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. The direct application is live well before the February deadline. It requests contact and demographic information, current grade level, graduation year, GPA range, intended field, and schools of interest or attendance. Applicants also submit the award’s original short essay, limited to 150 words, and certify that the work and all reported information are accurate. The association does not require a transcript or enrollment document at the initial stage. Only selected recipients must provide an official transcript confirming the reported GPA and proof that they are enrolled. Use the direct GrantPower form embedded by NPVA rather than a scholarship-directory profile, and submit the completed application by February 28, 2027.
