2027 Chick-fil-A Community Scholars Program
Offered by Chick-fil-A, Inc. and Scholarship America
About this scholarship
The 2027 Chick-fil-A Community Scholars Program offers up to thirteen one-time awards of as much as $25,000 to students whose academics, community service, leadership, and financial circumstances distinguish them. It is specifically for community members, not Chick-fil-A restaurant or corporate employees or their spouses and dependents. Applicants may be high-school seniors, undergraduates, or graduate students and must plan full-time study during 2027–28 at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, vocational-technical school, or Canadian CEGEP. They must be at least 18 by July 15, 2027, live in the United States, Puerto Rico, or Canada at application and award, hold at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, and show recent community service, extracurricular activity, or leadership. Citizenship or permanent residence is not required; the administrator expressly includes DACA recipients and international students attending an eligible institution in the covered locations. The application requires a complete transcript, the first two pages of the applicable U.S. or Canadian income-tax return with Social Security and bank numbers redacted, and at least one online recommendation. Winners may use funds for education-related expenses and request disbursement over one to six years. They may also join a one-year mentoring and leadership-development program. The current Scholarship America page is open through November 3, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Central Time.
