About this scholarship
The 2026 NPHF/Procter & Gamble Community Service Endowed Scholarship awards $1,000 to one nurse-practitioner graduate student whose service has made a significant positive contribution to a community or to patient care. The live application specifically highlights work with underserved or multicultural populations and efforts to reduce healthcare disparities. Eligible students must be enrolled in a nurse-practitioner master’s, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or PhD program and must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Applicants cannot be members or relatives of members of the Nurse Practitioner Healthcare Foundation Board of Trustees, employees or relatives of employees of the grant funder, or previous recipients of an NPHF scholarship or award. The online Kaleidoscope application requires identifying information, a copy of the program of study, an official transcript or a printed grade report signed by the program director, the program-director verification form, one reference form, an abbreviated curriculum vitae, personal and goal statements, and a timeline of community, school, or professional service activities. Applications are accepted online only and must be signed, dated, and submitted by October 6, 2026. NPHF says every applicant will be notified of the decision by November 4, 2026.
