2026 Fall Lounge Lizard Web Design Scholarship

Offered by Lounge Lizard Worldwide

About this scholarship

The 2026 Fall Lounge Lizard Web Design Scholarship awards $1,000 to a student who demonstrates creativity and an understanding of contemporary web-design possibilities. The competition is open to students attending school in the United States, including applicants already enrolled at an accredited school and applicants accepted to begin at one within six months. A particular major or degree level is not required, so high-school, undergraduate, graduate, design, and self-directed technology students may qualify when they meet the enrollment rule. The embedded official application asks for contact and academic information, the school attended or accepted, and the expected graduation date. Applicants then submit an original past or present web design either as a PDF or PSD upload or through a live website URL. URL entries must be provably designed or developed by the applicant, and the form provides a route for alternative verification when a name cannot be placed in the site metadata. An unofficial transcript upload is available, and every entrant certifies that the information and materials are accurate. The selection committee chooses one fall winner, who also receives a design critique and career discussion with Lounge Lizard founder Ken Braun. Applications must be submitted by October 4, 2026.
