2026 AUID Graduate Interior Design Scholarship

About this scholarship

The 2026 AUID Graduate Interior Design Scholarship offers awards from $1,000 to $2,500 to graduate interior-design and interior-architecture students. A current graduate student at an accredited institution or a 2026 graduate may apply; a previous AUID scholarship winner must wait two years before applying again. Candidates first complete the direct Wufoo form, then email the required PDF deliverables to the scholarship contact named on the official page. The packet includes a cover letter explaining professional goals and intended use of the award, a résumé detailing education, employment, honors, activities, memberships, and leadership, and a three-page interior-design portfolio created from AUID’s template. Architectural projects are not accepted. The first portfolio page presents the graduate research abstract, the second showcases the strongest interior-design project and its scope, and the third presents thumbnails and narrative for other work. Applicants also provide a professional or academic reference whom AUID contacts directly. Top candidates must join a 30-minute Zoom session, with up to 15 minutes for the portfolio presentation and 15 minutes for discussion. Complete applications are due September 18, 2026 at noon Eastern.

Eligibility

• Be a current graduate interior-design or interior-architecture student at an accredited institution, or a 2026 graduate
• Not have won an AUID scholarship within the prior two years
• Complete the direct AUID graduate Wufoo form
• Submit a cover letter and detailed résumé
• Create the required three-page interior-design portfolio using the AUID template; architectural projects are not accepted
• Provide an eligible professional or academic reference for AUID’s direct survey
• Participate in a 30-minute online portfolio presentation if selected as a finalist
• Complete every form and emailed deliverable by September 18, 2026 at noon Eastern Time
