2026-27 Walt Disney Company UNCF Enhanced Scholars Program
Offered by The Walt Disney Company and UNCF
About this scholarship
The 2026-27 Walt Disney Company UNCF Enhanced Scholars Program combines college funding with career preparation for students pursuing off-camera work across Disney businesses. Selected college juniors receive an award of up to $5,000 that may be renewed during the senior year. They may also be considered for a paid June-August 2027 Disney internship with housing and relocation assistance, multiple mentors, UNCF professional-development programming, and help exploring Disney early-career roles after graduation. Applicants must be enrolled full time as juniors at four-year U.S. colleges or universities and interested in areas such as television or studio operations, ESPN, parks and resorts, advertising, animation, animal science, engineering, finance, journalism, human resources, marketing, social media, technology, or television production. The current UNCF portal requires a 500-word essay explaining the applicant’s entertainment-industry career goals. Candidates must be available for the full summer internship if offered, and selected scholars must attend the UNCF Student Leadership Conference. The direct sponsor portal opened August 1, shows the application as active, and is the correct place to apply by November 2, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
