TEDS Dean's Merit Scholarship

Offered by Trinity Evangelical Divinity School

About this scholarship

The Trinity Evangelical Divinity School Dean's Merit Scholarship is an automatic admission award for academically strong incoming master's students. It reduces annual tuition by 20%, 30%, or 40% and renews for the recipient's course of study. The award level is determined from the cumulative GPA across the applicant's undergraduate degree: a 3.2–3.4 GPA qualifies for 20%, 3.5–3.7 qualifies for 30%, and 3.8 or higher qualifies for 40%. There is no separate merit-scholarship form. TEDS considers candidates when they submit the school's master's admission application, so applicants should provide a complete academic record through the official portal. The program is designed for students pursuing graduate theological education, including the Master of Divinity and other eligible TEDS master's degrees. TEDS states that its main automatic scholarships cannot be combined with one another; a student may qualify for only one of the Dean's Merit, Leadership Legacy, or International Impact awards at a time, apart from any separate scholarship the school expressly permits to stack. The university does not publish a fixed number of awards or a separate scholarship cutoff, so applicants should follow the admission timeline for their intended start term and rely on their actual award letter for final terms.
