Neptune Technology Group Scholarship
Offered by American Water Works Association and Neptune Technology Group
About this scholarship
The Neptune Technology Group Scholarship provides $5,000 to an undergraduate pursuing a degree in mechanical, electrical, computer, or software engineering. Offered through the American Water Works Association Water Equation program, the award connects engineering education to a company serving the water sector with metering and related technology. Applications for the 2027-2028 academic year are open through November 6, 2026. Applicants do not have to be AWWA members, but they must be permanent residents of the United States, Canada, or Mexico. AwardSpring matches eligible students to the Neptune scholarship after they create or sign in to an AWWA account and complete the common application. Selection is competitive and merit based, with GPA considered. Students should use their application to show strong preparation in one of the four eligible engineering disciplines and, where relevant, how their interests can contribute to technology, infrastructure, utilities, or water management. Any required recommendation must arrive before the deadline and should come from an academic or professional source; family members and personal friends are not recognized recommenders. The $5,000 payment goes directly to the school and may cover tuition, books, lab fees, lab equipment, or conference registration. Rent, living stipends, and per diem expenses are excluded. Incomplete or late applications are not forwarded to the scholarship committee.
