Hope For The Warriors Restoring Self Scholarship
Offered by Hope For The Warriors
About this scholarship
The Hope For The Warriors Restoring Self Scholarship supports eligible post-9/11 military spouses and caregivers who are working toward a bachelor’s degree. It is one of five separately defined tracks in the organization’s Military Spouse & Caregiver Scholarship Program. Students may attend an accredited U.S. college or university, and approved funds are paid to the institution for tuition, books, and required supplies. The official current page does not publish one standard award amount or number of available awards, so the value and recipient count vary. Applicants first complete the secure Hope For The Warriors Connect to Services intake. The intake team reviews whether the person is the spouse or caregiver of a post-9/11 service member or veteran whose circumstances include a combat-related injury and/or a 100% permanent and total VA disability rating, including Individual Unemployability. After confirming eligibility, the team assists with requesting an invitation to the Restoring Self application. Hope For The Warriors defines combat-related injuries as those resulting from armed conflict, hazardous duty, an instrumentality of war, or simulated-war environments. The current Spring scholarship cycle is open from August 1 through September 30, 2026. Referrals close three business days before the application deadline, so students need to start the intake process early enough to receive and finish the invited application.
