Hope For The Warriors New Beginnings Scholarship
Offered by Hope For The Warriors
About this scholarship
The Hope For The Warriors New Beginnings Scholarship is the program’s education track for eligible post-9/11 military spouses and caregivers enrolled in associate-degree programs, entry-level courses, or job training. It can support study at accredited U.S. colleges, universities, and trade schools. Scholarship funds are not unrestricted cash: Hope For The Warriors pays the institution directly for tuition, books, and required supplies. The current page does not state a fixed award value or annual recipient count, so the benefit varies. Students start through the official secure Connect to Services intake. An intake coordinator reviews the household’s military connection and helps an eligible person request an invitation to the correct scholarship category; there is no separate public application link that bypasses this step. The overall program requires the applicant to be the spouse or caregiver of a post-9/11 service member or veteran with a combat-related injury and/or a 100% permanent and total VA disability rating, including Individual Unemployability. Hope For The Warriors treats injuries arising from armed conflict, hazardous duty, an instrumentality of war, or simulated-war environments as combat related. The current Spring application cycle is open August 1 through September 30, 2026. Intake referrals stop three business days before the application closes, making early registration essential.
