Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards

Offered by Hispanic Heritage Foundation

About this scholarship

The Hispanic Heritage Foundation’s 2026 Youth Awards recognize high school seniors graduating in spring 2027 for academic performance, leadership, and community impact. Gold, Silver, and Bronze recipients are chosen in active categories such as Community Service, Engineering, and Green, with additional categories added during the season. Depending on category, recipients receive a one-time grant of up to $4,000 that may support college education or a community-service project. Winners also enter HHF’s Leaders On Fast Track network, which connects students with mentors, professional programs, internships, and other opportunities. Applicants must be current high school or accredited home-school seniors, hold at least a 3.0 unweighted GPA on a 4.0 scale or 7.5 on a 10-point scale, and plan to enroll at an accredited higher-education institution in 2027–2028. The program is open across all U.S. states and territories. A transcript, one recommendation, and category essay responses are required, and students may apply to multiple categories. Selected recipients must attend the virtual awards ceremony. The official portal is open and all materials must be uploaded by November 1, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific time.
