Colgate-Palmolive Haz La U Grants
Offered by Colgate-Palmolive and the Hispanic Heritage Foundation
About this scholarship
Colgate-Palmolive’s Haz La U program funds 31 educational grants through the Hispanic Heritage Foundation Youth Awards. Colgate provides $100,000 in total support, and the current Youth Awards rules state that category grants may reach $4,000. There is no separate Haz La U form: a student who completes the 2026 Youth Awards application is automatically considered for Haz La U, making the linked HHF portal the deepest correct application route. The program looks for academic excellence, leadership, and meaningful service to the community. Applicants must be high school or accredited home-school seniors graduating in spring 2027 and must plan to enroll at an accredited higher-education institution during 2027–2028. A minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA on a 4.0 scale, or 7.5 on a 10-point scale, is required. Students throughout all U.S. states and territories may participate. The shared application requires a school transcript, one letter of recommendation, and responses to the applicable Youth Awards essay questions. Applicants can enter more than one active award category, and selected recipients must attend the virtual awards ceremony. All online sections and supporting documents are due November 1, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific time.
