Cameron Impact Scholarship

Offered by Bryan Cameron Education Foundation

About this scholarship

The Cameron Impact Scholarship is a four-year merit award for high school students who pair strong academics with sustained leadership, community service, and extracurricular achievement. The Bryan Cameron Education Foundation selects 15 scholars annually and pays full tuition, required fees, and books at any accredited U.S. college or university the recipient chooses. Housing and ordinary living costs are not included, so the award is classified as partial funding even though it covers tuition. About one quarter of awards are intended for students planning careers in education, nonprofit work, government, the military, or another form of public service. The 2027 competition is for the high school Class of 2028. Applicants must be full U.S. citizens, maintain at least a 3.7 unweighted GPA, and plan full-time enrollment at a four-year U.S. institution immediately after graduation. The application requires an online form, two recommendations—one from current school personnel—and a transcript. Approximately 100 finalists receive in-person interviews. Applications open February 1, 2027 and are reviewed on a rolling basis; the portal closes when 3,000 complete eligible applications arrive or on May 1, whichever happens first, making early submission important.
