Binghamton University Achievement Scholarship
Offered by Binghamton University, State University of New York
About this scholarship
The Binghamton University Achievement Scholarship is a competitive undergraduate scholarship program for incoming students. Binghamton states that 25 incoming undergraduate students per year receive awards through the program. Twenty incoming first-year students receive $10,000 per year for up to four years of study, and five incoming first-year students receive up to the in-state full cost of attendance, approximately $30,000 per year, for up to four years. All undergraduate applicants are considered, and there is no separate scholarship application. A campus committee selects recipients, and continued eligibility depends on maintaining the specified GPA. The award is partial for international students because the larger tier is measured against in-state full cost of attendance and does not necessarily cover the full international cost of attendance, visa expenses, travel, insurance, or personal costs. International applicants should complete the appropriate first-year application route, submit official transcripts and English proficiency evidence, and monitor their admission and scholarship communications. International students requiring F or J status are not eligible for U.S. federal or state aid.
