2027 NPVA Altruism + All Good Deeds Scholarship

Offered by National Parent Volunteer Association

About this scholarship

The 2027 Altruism + All Good Deeds Scholarship awards $1,000 to a student who participates in volunteer work and community service. The National Parent Volunteer Association accepts high-school juniors and seniors, undergraduate students, graduate students, and adult or nontraditional learners. Candidates must be enrolled or plan to enroll full time or part time at accredited U.S. postsecondary institutions, including vocational and technical schools, two-year colleges, four-year colleges, universities, and graduate programs. A minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale applies to every applicant. The active direct form collects standard academic and contact information, the applicant’s intended major, and colleges of interest or attendance. Its main written component is an original award-specific essay of no more than 150 words, so effective submissions should describe volunteer activity and community service with concrete detail while staying inside the strict limit. Applicants certify that the work is original and their information is accurate. Official transcripts and proof of enrollment are requested only from selected recipients, not during the initial application. The sponsor’s current directory lists the May 31, 2027 deadline and links directly to the live GrantPower application embedded on the NPVA program page.
