2027 Navigate Your Future Scholarship

Offered by National Air Transportation Foundation

About this scholarship

The 2027 Navigate Your Future Scholarship provides $2,500 for one year of full-time undergraduate study in an aviation-related program. The National Air Transportation Foundation created the award for high-school seniors planning careers in general aviation. Applicants must be enrolled or accepted at accredited colleges or universities in aviation-related programs, include their college acceptance letters, and demonstrate a clear interest in general aviation. The direct five-step application requests applicant and education information, flight-training background, activities, awards, honors, and verification materials. Required uploads include a high-school transcript, recommendation letter, college or university acceptance letter, and a personal statement. That statement should explain the applicant’s general-aviation career goals, education plan, flight-training goals, and at least two reasons the candidate should receive the scholarship. The live application also states that recipients must be at least 18 when the award is made; NATA student membership is optional and does not affect application status. The official annual deadline is the last Friday in June, which falls on June 25 in 2027. The award check is payable jointly to the recipient and the college or university.
