2026 NPVA Building Bridges Scholarship

Offered by National Parent Volunteer Association

About this scholarship

The 2026 NPVA Building Bridges Scholarship awards $1,000 to a student involved in a community. The National Parent Volunteer Association accepts high-school juniors and seniors, undergraduate students, graduate students, and adult or nontraditional students. Applicants must be enrolled or plan to enroll full time or part time at accredited U.S. vocational or technical schools, two-year colleges, four-year colleges, universities, or graduate institutions. A minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale is required. The live application asks for the applicant’s contact information, grade level, graduation year, GPA range, intended major, and colleges of interest or attendance. Its central response is a personal statement of no more than 150 words explaining how the student is involved in a community; that community may be a school, neighborhood, ethnic group, or another community meaningful to the applicant. An official transcript confirming the reported GPA and proof of enrollment are required only after a student is selected, not with the initial application. The sponsor’s current scholarship directory confirms the September 30, 2026 deadline and links to this direct active form.
