2026 Italian American Executives of Transportation Scholarship

Offered by Italian American Executives of Transportation

About this scholarship

The 2026 Italian American Executives of Transportation Scholarship supports Illinois students of Italian American heritage, in whole or in part. Applicants must reside in Illinois and be either a 2026 high-school graduate or a college freshman during 2026. The selection committee considers the applicant’s reflection on Italian Americans’ importance in the community, academic record, extracurricular activities, community service, financial need, recommendation, and any disability or unusual circumstance that warrants special consideration. The direct online form collects current school and college plans, GPA, awards, activities, service, family and expense information. Required uploads are a school transcript, a teacher recommendation, a one-page double-spaced essay on “What My Italian Heritage Means to Me” and educational goals, and a current high-resolution headshot in JPG or PNG format. Award amounts and the number selected are not stated on the official 2026 page, so this record leaves them as varying rather than copying an unsupported estimate. Recipients must attend the IAET Awards Banquet on November 21, 2026 and follow its semi-formal and ceremony requirements. Applications close August 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
